Welcome to the Hamilton Paranormal Guestbook

At the foot of the llantisilio mountains near llangollen Wales is a small village called Rhewll. The local pub , a 13th century inn, has Voynich Manuscript markings on both a parchment and a s and it was meant for you, though Amber's I read too and it was interesting as well!
Very well said your comments and of your knowledge of the tunnel, very interesting thankyou.
Sure made me think.
Thanks!

I was born and raised on Mud Street and Albion Falls was our hangout when we were teenagers. My Mom grew up there and used to work in the Snack Store when it was there.

Last night a couple of my friends and I went to the screaming tunnel in Niagara Falls and learned of this site. The pictures you took were awesome, its just too bad that there wasn't as much presence as I had hoped there would be. Steve got lucky though and had some company in his pic. I want to go back one day and hear the screams. I was interested in the paranormal before but now I find it so much more interesting. This site is so awesome, and I hope that I will have many more paranormal experiences. George and Cathy it was a pleasure meeting you. If you want to find some more paramormal activity there are some cool places in Welland. Good Luck and Happy Hunting. :)

i live right near the tunnels about 15 mins away, and i go to the tunnels all the time. the reason ur seeing so much activity is because not only was there a tragic death of a young girl, its also a vortex of spirits because of the sulfer spring. spirits are attracted to filth decay and altogether unpleasent surroundings. as well as u have to remember there were alot of soldiers who died on these very grounds. if u go to queenston hieghts or fort goerge u'll probably find the same thing. as for the pics with ALOT of accitivity in them think of the time they were taken 12a.m IS the "witching" hr and between the hrs of 12 and 4 a.m. especially between 2 and 4 are the most active. one more thing i'd like to add notice the red orbs red is not good the tunnells is a VERY strong place and i don't advise entering if ur not sure what ur doing. there are too gaurdians that watch over the tunnel and anyone who knows anything about this place knows to ask permission b4 entering, and thank them for watching over u b4 u leave, do this in ur head if u feel dum saying it out loud. it sounds foolish but its a sign of respect and the more respectfull u are the less likely ur going to have company on ur way home.:) as for the ppl who made this site i am planning on doing a camp out soon to document activity, u'r more then welcome to join email me and we'll chat. i have been able to cum in comtact with alot of things since i was very young an i garauntee u won't be disappointed. thanx for listening ur friend lady pinky

you may want to do a little research into reading auras. araus are said to be the energy sourse of every human being. it is also belived to be the same energy sourse that continues to exist even after the human physical form has passed on. people who can see auras always describe them in colours and vibrancy. and each hue has it's own meaning. so the coloured orbs that you see may give a hint as to the status of each orb and the feelings surrounding it. a red aura is said to show anger. the more vibrant and intense the colour the stronger the emotion. so the red orb that you saw at the hermatige, that gave you a overall feeling of discomfort, may have been a very angery spirit. the darker the red indicated a very violent nature as well as selfishness and deciete. a vibrant clear red generally represents fear. you may find it usefull to research more on auras, even learn how to see them then you may be able to see your orbs with the naked eye.

This is a nice site, I like it cause of the educational value. I did'nt know Dundas had a railway station. Much respect goes out to all the decised mentioned on this site. But I doubt that Skyway/Main lighthouse has paranormal activity. There is to many people that go by that bridge on the daily. But on the real though I you guys are like doctors when it comes to ghost and ish. Its just heartbreaking that ghost got to suffer like that. My prayers go out to them. R.I.P. Lady.

But I am mostly interested in the pictures with a Vortex in them. I am really into the whole Vortex thing. Too bad there aren't any clear pictures with a vortex in them. Well I hope you get some more pictures and info in soon. I've already been through this WHOLE sight. I just love it though. Keep up the great job, it gets more interesting as you go along!!!

There were a 3 year old, a 6 year old, and a 9 year old buried there. I was walking past it, then I stopped to read it. I went to catch up with Cody, then I turned around and saw somehting move by the grave but, there was nothing there. Cody didn`t see it but we left anyway. when we were leaving it felt like someone was following us. It was really creepy. By Joris Ittrue really!!!!!!

Hi

We have a phonomenon like this. I wondered if it could be the same thing you are observing. We have flickering wavery glowing usually blueish but not always, like mist to look at, but dry. Sometimes it takes the form of glowing orbs.

They used to be used by Cornish Miners to prospect for mineral lodes. We know the cause of them. This used to be common knowledge many centuries ago, but some known knowledge gets lost with modernisation.

hello, me and my friend ashley just happened to come across your website here. a bunch of friends and us are going to the hermitage tonight for our first time. we are unaware of the events which await us. we have heard many stories and have also heard it is pitch black out there. we are going to bring flashlights, cameras, and a video camera to be safe. we heard that on some nights satan worshippers are there and having some kind of freaky rituals. we dont know if this is true or not. but we are bringing weapons just to be safe. even tho the weapons cant save us from ghostly spirits......there may be something else lurking out there in the woods. wish us luck. april 26th, 2003

This is the ledgend that i heard about The Screaming Tunnel...Well there was this little girl who was walking through the tunnel at 12:00am with a candle. She tripped on a rock and her candle fell onto her dress and she caught fire. Then all the neighbours heard were the screams of the little girl.Thats why they call it the Screaming Tunnel. So if you walk through at exactly 12:00am with a candle you'll trip on a rock and die the same way the little girl did.

hello you have a good site here, i have been to the blue ghost tunnel and it really is haunted! * but by what?*
i went there with some person named judith, she was skeptical about a ghost inhabiting the tunnel until she went inside.

we went to first brace and saw a flash of blue we stood there for about three minutes trying to see what we could see.

after we came out she had two huge hand prints on he back of her jacket and i swear i DID NOT TOUCH HER!

then we were walking back and we were just going over the dirt pile and she fell and said i was pushed!

she demonstrated what happend and she was pushed again!
the way i know and she knew she were pushed is because if you fell you would have your foot on the ground flat out but both times she went on to her toes!

i know once again she wasn't lieing because she wrecked a very exspensive pair of leather shoes.

pls email back and tell me what she should do because ever since that happend she has been getting nightmares.

Hello everyone!
I have lots of ecto clouds in my flat nearly every evening.
I didn't know one can take them on camera, but I will try.
If anyone has links to some detailed information about ecto clouds, please send them to me!
At first I was very afraid of these clouds, but the more I read about them the more I am interested in this theme.
Funny is, my cats noticed them first. They can see them by directly watching them. I can only see them by looking indirectly of the edge of the eye (sorry, I don't know the right term, in german it's "Augenwinkel")
Please excuse my bad english, I will learn ;)

why are most of the pictures about the brace?
but you do have some interesting pictures that i my self think are most excelent.

i have another question, have you seen any ghosts?
i have been around the tunnel before and i saw some weird behavior and heard noises such as tapping and whispering and im sure i heard quiet groans. can you explain what happend because my friend mike saw what he says was a blue streek shooting into the tunnel.

we find it quite scary as well because we live in what used to be the quarry and is now the cascades survey...if we look out the window we can see the train tracks across the street!

I think what you're family is doing with this website is awesome. A lot of this places you are talking about I grew up around, I live on Dickenson Road and my uncle lives on hwy #8 just above the train tracks in Dundas. I had my first incounter with three orbs in two different pictures today at my friends home that has just most recently burned down and it was daytime when I had taken the pictures. I am going to return tonight to take more pictures. Both of his grandparents had died in this house years before the fire. Maybe I could send you the pictures so you could analyze them, anyways its just a thought. I have been to almost all of the sites that you have taken pictures at and thought they were haunted when I was younger. Well thanks for the great website. Sincerly Greg Sweet

Visited the Sydenham Rail Bridge tonight and definately had company. The first time I went a week ago it was quiet. We saw a mist pass by us on the path more than once. By the time we got to the rail underpass there was something in front of us we could feel it. Everytime I pointed my camera in that direction it would not function. When I pointed it to the side it flashed. I tried that several times and my friend watched it. When I tried for a fourth time, the camera spontaneously rewound the film. I did not use it up.
Please contact me.

Funnal ghosts. Another concept I never thought of. If there is vortexes to other worlds/spirit realm this will explain how orbs or other beings can travel from one reaml to another. I really enjoyed this theory and I wish to learn more. Keep up the great work!

i too went to the screaming tunnel. My cousins and i went there one night and decided to park the car right at the end of the tunnel. We decided to leave both the car light and the engine on just in case something was to go wrong. There were about six of us there and together we went into the tunnel. Once in the middle we lit a match. After about 3 seconds it blew out. Although that was not strange enough the car light and the engine turned off. We were all so scared that we ran out. When we got to the car the doors were locked and we were locked out. My cousin always brings an extra key for this type of situation and we got of there as fast as we can.

I have always been interested in the screaming tunnel mostly because I watch trains and I’m interested in the paranormal. I was looking forward to feeling a cold rush go threw my body and a sense of uneasiness as I walk threw the tunnel, but nothing happened, I felt normal even the candle trick didn’t work. I want to believe this kind of stuff but I’m the kind of guy that needs proof. Maybe next time :)

Hello
I have pictures of th eWindoc ship if any one cares to have them, it had got loose and difted there last winter, there has been a few mishaps with it, one being a fire and had a few repairs to it, and was docked in Hamilton for more repairs when a wind storm took it to the final resting place.
Just type in Windoc ship in Hamilton Harbour and you will find many things on it.

Hello
I am a decendent of Robert Grassie, I have found 4 Grassie decendents on the genealogy internet site!
There is a Grassie/Castley site family tree on the internet as well.
I too have posted my information on it.
You have a lovely site and thankyou for posting it on the internet!!
I am the great great granddaughter of William Grassie, father to Robert who immigrated to Hamilton,Grassie's corners,Grimsby,Binbrook,Saltfleet in 1847 from Aberdeenshire Scotland and various children moved to the surrounding areas I mentioned as they grew up and moved away, some went out west as well, a few in New Jersey and else where too I'm sure.
Anyone connecting to this family I would love to hear from as well as share my genealogy information with, my email address is, judith1956@execulink.com

Have a very nice day to all!

I have to tell you that your site is awesome, I know you probably hear that all the time, but i wanted to tell you too. Also, have you heard about the other tunnels in niagara-on-the-lake, its also down by Niagara college, but closer to GM down at the end of gate 12, it is also supposed to be haunted, and several people have gotten readings and things from there, but it turns out that pictures Dont like to be developed from there. People have taken like 4 or 5 rolls of film and only ended up with one picture, I was down there last week and its pretty freaky, well to me at least. If you have already checked out the site, then cool, I would like to read your findings on it, but if not I will give you the directions if you would like them, and you could go check it out.
Thanks for letting me view your site, I enjoyed it.

Just wanted to say hi...nice site and such.

Also, the story about the "home ghost" reminded me of a time when I had just went to bed and was laying down for about 5 minutes, heard something, opened my eyes to see something walk in my room and back out (no, minus my glasses, i can't see all that well, but I can see movement). I at first thought it to be my dog, but then realized that my dog was closed in my parents bedroom. I jumped up, turned on the light and went into the hall and there was nothing there. It freaked me out for damn sure.

Truly enjoyed looking at all the pictures of the ghosts,
yes i do believe some ghosts do reside inside and outside
of the mansion. I can't think of another explanation for the images in the photographs. Very interesting indeed.

I have really enjoyed your site. I strongly believe in spirits since my husband has one that follows him. I guess you could say she must be his spirit guide. She lets him know all sorts of things, like when something bad is going to happen. Needless to say if he calls and says "Dont leave the house" I listen. She has told him the exact minute our friends mother died.

My mothers house also has a spirit. This spirit is a male. We know this because my mom and I can smell his colgne so stong that it makes our eyes water. No one else can smell it but they have seen things move. He has also turned on the blow dryer while it wasnt plugged in. Some of my friends think I am crazy until they go to my moms house.

Both spirits are very friendly and not scary in the least but you sure get a sense when they are in the room with you. Sorry so long, just wanted so share.

Nice site. If you click on the URL I left and go to the folder marked "possibly paranormal" you will see some photos I took at The Hermitage. They yielded some good results I think. If the link doesn't work properly it is...

WOW what a fantastic site..I loved it. I love hauntings and have gone on those myself hundreds of times at various locations and I agree with Cathy...I have all of sudden cried for no reason at a particular location...and then stopped when I stepped out of that specific locations and coldness and clammy is one of the other ones in certain locations. I am looking forward to more.

Hey, I was just looking at your pics of the hermatige. First off, were you there on the 27th also?? I was, it started raining, I had a vid cam with me but got nothing. The odd creaking noises you described were however. My freind and myself heard them quite distinctly, but they sounded like they were coming from all directions. No where specific. I have a few questions and I'd appreciate it if you'd email me, thanx

Great site

Very Spooky pictures Cathy! But in your pic named MysterV2, the one with the black iron gate and the fog on the wall, I clearly see a face behind the gate! Hair and all, kinda looks like a woman, right on the corner of the wall...it almost appears to blend in the wall! Go see if you see what I see!

Hey there! Great documentation of the Hermitage.... some of your pics are very interesting (and spooky). I think my favourite is the one of the mist standing on the path leading to the ruins!

Please stop by and visit our Message Board, as it's always full of ghostly discussions. I'm sure many of our members would love to see and comment on these pics, so feel free to post your link on the board, and see what kind of comments you get! :)

Take care,

I love your site! However, I do see some activity in the second pic of the storage house just next to the gatehouse!
There seems to be a v-shaped fog-like mass to the left edge of the pic half way! It is behind some trunks of trees! Go look Cathy! It's there! It is on the first page of pics, second photo! Storage shed!
I am good at this as we have had an intity in our family for years, his name is George! Sounds silly, but very real and very true!

I love the images you have used to the left as a border! Good job on your site! Heheheeeee
