Took two of my sons to the Screaming Tunnel. We took quite a few photos and had a good time, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Imagine my surprise when I got the photos back. Ectomist in several of the photos. In one photo is a huge swirl of ectomist with what looks like a face at the top of it. Really weird, and it gives you a creepy feeling to see this when there was nothing there at the time the pictures were taken. In another pic a small area of ectomist seems to be going alonside my ten year old son near the mouth of the tunnel. As far as orbs go, only one showed up in a photo. But a lot of ectomist for sure. The moderator of this establishment is allowing some terrible comments to come through the airwaves and reach a people that have banded together to put down the people on this site. Its so bad that theyve pulled out somebody from under a rock to help them with “the paranormal”. I think this person was reserected for one reason, to get you guys and to help gather revenge for what they think was a attempt to shut them down. I’m only posting to tell you to be weary of these people. Some of the comments that they make about you are terrible and shouldn’t be ignored. I dont think you should be afraid to talk abot this on your site, theyre not afraid. I know its hard to converse with them over email because they will just post it, which is wrong and distastful. I think this might be the only way to get your feelings about it out to the people that visit your site. You might be inviting some bad blood on the board by talking about it, but at least it might change things (also you have the delete button here). I was born and raised in Stoney Creek as well as Winona,and have visited Battlefield Park many,many times day and night.I also lived on Mountain Avenue South in the appartment building just below the gorge,where our balcony overlooked it, and didn't see anything unusual.The only times at night was to see the annual fireworks and never seen anything unusual,maybe that's because it was loud with alot of activities going on. Fellow readers: I have been in search for some information regarding an Author named G.Novitsky. I read 2 of his books, The Cemetery Fence and Sheep. I viewed detailed information on paranormal websites and then researched the author on 1stbooks.com, borders.com, barnesandnoble.com and blackwells.com. I have obtained information from book readers chat rooms and other sites that the covers of the 2 books were pictures taken many years ago that recently turned up after the author’s death. The picture on The Cemetery Fence is said to be the author as a child and one of the graves was his twin brother’s. That is one of the stories about that book, there are also others. The cover of Sheep was said to have small pictures of demons and animals in the background. There are so many variations of what really went on for the pictures. As far as the author’s death, that is also something in question. It has been said that he died right after writing The Cemetery Fence and that is why the movie production companies were unable to obtain the rights to make the stories into movies. Rumors also insist that there are other manuscripts written by G.Novitsky that will be published in years to come. I am just writing in hope to get information regarding any of the stories that exist, maybe he is still alive and if so, I would like to have him sign my copies. I was searching on the web and came across Haunted Hamilton, so i went to it and found the Legend of the Screaming Tunnel. I called up my friends and we went there. It was about 10:00 when we showed up and there were some other kids there. 4 of us went inside the tunnel while the others waited outside. The second we walked into the tunnel you can feel the extream negativity in the air. Mike lighted the match the 1st time when we all had our flash lights on, it went out instantly. So the ones inside the tunnel turned the flash lights off and the ones outside the tunnel had theirs still on. Mike tried to light the match again. It too went out instantly and nothing still happened. so we all turned our flash lights off, Mike lit the match it burned for a few seconds then Mike shot it on the ground saying "It was bogus" we all exited the tunnel. About 10 seconds later everything got really quite and still and we herd the most blood curdling scream. At about 10:15 We all rand to our cars and booked outa there. We went on Sunday 8/31/03. Wiley and Patricia <family@poarch-family.net> Stony Creek, Virginia USA - Monday, September 01, 2003 at 16:03:50 (EDT) I have personally seen (Ghostly figures, the black shadows, and even a person clear as day appear and disappear as if it was some kind of goast) looking at some of the pictures on this site I thought for shure many were "fake" (Orbs: moisture on a camera lense, Ecto plasma: cigarete smoke infront of the camera, etc) but I actually had the oppertunity to go out with the people from "Hamilton Paranormal.com" and see just how these pictures were taken, they even let me take a few of my own, and in my expereance, all the pictures on this site I now believe are 100% Lagit and "not" some kind of camrea trick or digitall editing, but indeed some kind of sperituall activity. The steel boat (see the all steel construction, including the hull... the superstructure is just covered in wood to look old). It was towed here from the US to be setup as another floating restraunt and when funds dried up, a mysterious fire broke out on it.... hmmm insurance scam? One in particular, a face in the rock inside the tunnel, now it is possible it is spray paint, however i never noticed it before. It is very close to some graffiti which makes me think it could just be that. I must also say that the first visit was the most interesting, my digital camera which operates on a rechargeable lithium battery, was completely charged when i went inside the tunnel, then just drained completely, i walked back out of the tunnel and the battery recharged itself, i had to re-enter the date and time, a part of the menu i can only access when the battery has completely drained and been re charged. I had brought my digital, which was fully charged, and the first time we entered the tunnel, my battery went dead, we exited the tunnel, and my battery was fully charged. So we went back in and this time my camera stayed charged, I took several pictures, and in 3 of them i have some strange things. 2 have only one orb in them, and one has the redish-orange glow to the left of the picture,all those with me were to my right. We are going back there today in the daylight to see what happens. I have been to the the "magnetic hill" a number of times and can't explain it, everytime the car does actually stop right beside the big willow tree. I was just wondering if you had ever looked into the story of "Emma" at 'Emmas Back porch' in Burlington. I find these things quite interesting, however I think as far as the "orbs" and "ecto mist" in your photos.. put out the cigarette before taking the photo, that will take care of the "mist" and although lens flares are a nice touch to a photograph they don't lead me to belive they are ghosts.
