The Haunting of the Sydenham Rd. Rail Bridge
Dundas , Ontario

We went back to the Sydenham rail bridge once again tonight about 8pm on Saturday Feb 8th/2003....
In our group tonight there was Chris, myself, and Cathy. It was snowing lightly when we arrived, so in some of the pictures you will see snow. When we started out towards the rail bridge Chris was flashing his flashlight around just before the steps to the old wooden bridge. All of a sudden I saw the dark shape of a man standing there looking at us in the edge of the flashlight beam. And as Chris flashed the light to his left the shadow walked away into the woods. I was really shocked to see this and asked Chris and Cathy if they too had seen the man standing there. They did not see what I had seen. The shadowy figure of the man was in an upright position, not on the ground like a shadow, and there was no other light source coming from behind us so it could not have been a trick of the light. We did all agree that we could feel something in the area and knew this would be a good night in spite of the light snow.

We took about 85 pictures and a lot of the pics showed only snow falling.

I took a photo where I saw the shadowy form of a man by the steps leading to the rail bridge and got some ecto mist to the right side. In the other photos I took in that area there was nothing to show. If you look to the right in the photo you will see a man's face.

After arriving at the trail by the rail bridge I took many pictures and got nothing so I went to the top of the bridge and in the first photo got this. Now it could have been a snow flake reflecting back, or was it something else???? While on top of the bridge I did feel I was not alone.

In the second picture I took looking east on top of the bridge I caught a lot of ecto mist with a light red tint to it. Just as a reminder when I take photos in cold weather I hold my breath while taking the picture. So I know it was not my breath I had caught on film.

In the third picture I took I got some more ecto mist that seemed to be leaving by going upwards above the bridge. Again there was still a red tint to the mist.

After taking many more pictures I got nothing but in this photo to the right on the ground in between the rails on top of the bridge there was a light blue ecto mist. What this was going to form into is anybody's guess.

It started to snow a bit with a light flurry , but in this photo you can see that there was a red entity of some sort beside me to the right. Where I was standing taking the pictures there was nothing that could reflect to give this eerie effect.

This photo was taken 30sec after and the red entity was still there but it seemed to have moved somewhat further to the right like it was going behind me. The white specs you see are snow flakes falling.

After taking about 10 more pictures Cathy had called to me from the trail and wanted to leave. (She said her toes were frozen) So I took another photo of the bridge and got this ecto mist on top of the bridge..... I rejoined the group on the trail and we started to leave. the Trail was ice covered and we all knew there is a spirit there that likes to push folks. I just rounded the trail leading to the old lower bridge and slipped and went down a ways before stopping. If one goes out to this location PLEASE take precautions, the trail is dangerous to walk on.

I was happy when we made it to the wooden bridge. I took a few shots of the bridge and got nothing. But in this photo I did manage to catch ecto mist that almost completely blocked out the bridge in front of me. The big white blob you see is nothing of the paranormal. It was a snowflake that had reflected back from the flash of the camera.
