The Gage House Tour

We then entered the museum room where many artifacts remain behind glassed doors from the war of 1812. Here displayed is a soldier's outfit.

The tour guide was ready to leave this room and I asked if I could stay behind to take pictures. I was granted permission to stay behind. With no one else in the room with me I took this photo of a display cabinet. Look to the right hand side in the display unit and I believe I perhaps caught an image of Mrs. Gage leaving the room. Follow the door frame down and you will notice that the dress fades out. This was not the tour guide, for the guide had very long black hair hanging down her back and she wore a white skirt not brown.

This is a shot of the good old days gone by and how they washed the clothes in the basement. I wonder if this was the orgin for the MayTag Washer? Only Kidding.

This is a photo of the inside of the castle's main door. Yes you can view the castle for this is included in the cost of the tour.

On the first tier you can see what the walkway looks like. It goes around the castle and provides a splendid view of the area.

This is how the Gage House looks from the castle.

I had taken this picture before leaving the castle. If you ever wanted to know the castle's history and how it came to be you can find the answer to your questions by taking the tour.

Not many pictures of the paranormal for say, but the experience of visiting the Gage house and the castle will be long remembered. The tour is worth the cost and we would recommend this to everyone interested in the Gage house
