The tragedy of 1934

In this news article you can see the rescue workers around the crash site. The close up photos you see are the ones that got injured and were taken to the Hamilton General Hospital.





In this news article is a picture of D.W. Markham and his wife that were killed in the tragic train wreck in Dundas. Mr. Markham was just appointed for the Kings Council two weeks before the accident.





This photo was taken by a Hamilton Spectator camera man, of the flyer engine that derailed and ground itself into the ground. You can also see one of the passenger cars rammed up behind the engine of the Christmas Special.
